Oswald Park

2009 – 20×24 inches. Acrylic on canvas. This painting was made as an illustration for a public park sign for the Oaklands community in Victoria. We had a special event with neighbours and their dogs at the park where I took lots of photographs to help me with the painting. My own dog Luci appears in the bottom left corner just above the seesaw.

Lily Queen of the Couch

2008 – 6×9 inches. Watercolour, pencil crayon and ink on paper. A pet portrait of my neighbour’s dog, with our cat Loke in the background.

Wolf Eel

2001 – 11×17 inches. Acrylics and watercolours on paper. The wolf eel is one of my favourite creatures in the ocean. They look like an ugly muppet! So cute.

Giant Pacific Octopus

2001 – 11×17 inches. Acrylics and watercolours on paper. The most intelligent mollusc on the planet! Such a thrill to encounter on a dive.

Mount Stephen Park

2009 – 20×24 inches. Acrylic on canvas. Part of a public art commission for the Oaklands community in Victoria. This image is an illustration made for a public sign in the area celebrating the endangered Garry Oak meadow ecosystem. If you look closely you can see many species of animals hiding in the painting.

Storm

2007 – 8×10 inches. Watercolour and ink on paper. This is an illustration for a collection of Coast Salish stories, commissioned by the Saanich Adult Education Centre.

Soprano Sax

2017 – 9×12 inches. Ink on paper. This is an illustration intended for a colouring book I want to make. It features two views of a soprano saxophone with a Columbine flower and some butterflies.

Ryan Street Garden

2009 – 20×24 inches. Digital illustration. Part of a public art commission for the Oaklands community in Victoria. This image is an illustration made for a public sign in the Ryan Street neighbourhood garden area. If you look closely you can see many species of native plants, birds and insects hiding in the painting, as well as a local gardener.

Reef Illustration

2016 – 8×10 inches. Ink on paper. This illustration was published in the Island Illustrators west coast themed colouring book. How many ocean critters can you spot?

2007 – 8×10 inches. Watercolour and ink on paper. This is a cover illustration for a book of Coast Salish stories, essays and cultural knowledge, commissioned by the Saanich Adult Education Centre.
