2008 – 9×12 inches. Acrylic on canvas. A portrait of my dog.

Silken Wavehounds

2020 – 24×36 inches. Acrylic on canvas. This is a commissioned painting, now in the collection of Cathie Leloff in Delhi, Ontario, Canada. The image depicts a surge of silken windhound dogs coming to the west coast on the crest of a wave.

Hera

2020 – 9×12 inches. Watercolour and ink on watercolour paper. This is a portrait of my dad’s dog.

Viola

2018 – 9×12 inches. Linocut printmaking with three plates, an edition of 6.

Mischief Asleep

2011 – 8×10 inches. Two plate linocut print, edition of 8. This is a portrait of our old cat Loke (pronounced Low-kee) sleeping on a handmade quilt. Loke was an affectionate cat named after the Viking god of mischief.

Flying Over the Sand

2011 – 6×8 inches. Linocut print on rice paper. This image was made based on the stories from a friend who adopted two lurcher dogs in Wales and used to run the dogs on the beaches there and in Oregon. The dogs LOVED to run so fast they were flying!

Wiener Wonderdogs

2007 – 5×7 inches. Watercolour, pencil crayon and ink on paper. Pets portrait for our neighbours.

Super Zeus

2008 – 6×9 inches. Watercolour, pencil crayon and ink on paper. A pet portrait for my neighbour.

Stan and Lou

2012 – 9×12 inches. Acrylic on canvas. A pet portrait for my friends who had two beautiful lurcher dogs from Wales. They loved to run on beaches!

Royal Maow

2007 – 5×7 inches. Watercolour, pencil crayon and ink on paper. A pet portrait for my neighbour.

Parrots

2008 – 5×5 inches. Acrylic on canvas. This is a pet portrait of my sister’s Senegal parrots, Banjo and Kaylee.

Oswald Park

2009 – 20×24 inches. Acrylic on canvas. This painting was made as an illustration for a public park sign for the Oaklands community in Victoria. We had a special event with neighbours and their dogs at the park where I took lots of photographs to help me with the painting. My own dog Luci appears in the bottom left corner just above the seesaw.
