These cute little quails are neighbourhood residents where we live. In spring I sometimes spot a flock of them with more than a dozen fluffy babies no bigger than a toonie 2$ coin! They are sooo tiny and cute! Too quick for my camera though. This is a silkscreen print I made of a family of quails.

I made this print at a silkscreen printmaking workshop at the Metchosin International Summer School of the Arts. I love seeing the families of California quails running around my neighbourhood. The babies are so tiny!
